Vision 04 Girls Maroon President’s Cup Champions!

 

Once again, the Vision 04 Maroon girls will head to Greenville, South Carolina to compete in US Youth Soccer’s Regionals this June as OSA President’s Cup champions!

 

 

 

 

The President’s Cup final at the brand new Advance Soccer Complex featured Vision and a familiar rival with whom they split contests earlier in the year – WOFC 04/05. Just a few minutes after Vision striker Justyce Walker exited the match with a serious injury, WOFC’s Alexa Sambrano scored the first goal of the game – giving WOFC a 1-0 halftime lead. 

 

Vision coaches Levi Karnes and Perry Stephens walked the girls through second half adjustments – and those paid off. Eighteen minutes into the second half, Vision‘s Mia Miskel scored the equalizer then with fewer then three minutes remaining, Ashlee Davison was fouled in the penalty area and Sarah Hobrecht netted the ensuing penalty kick punching Vision’s ticket to Regionals!
